HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 51230 0 RESOLUTION NO. 5123 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ENDORSING PROPOSITIONS A, B, AND C ON THE NOVEMBER 8, 1966 BALLOT. WHEREAS, the rising costs of government services are of concern to all elected officials; and WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has appointed a Citizens Economy and Efficiency Committee; and WHEREAS, this Committee has recommended various cost- saving improvements in County government; and WHEREAS, amendments to the Los Angeles County Charter are required to effect some of these economies; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has authorized Propositions A, B, and C on the November 8 ballot; and WHEREAS, the passage of these Propositions will realize substantial savings to all taxpayers; and WHEREAS, a majority vote is required on the November 8 election: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby endorse Propositions A, B, and C on the November 8 ballot and urges a Yes vote by all registered voters. Adopted and approved this 20th day of October, 1966.
