In the absence of all the members of the City Council of the City of Azusa, the City Clerk declared the meeting postponed and adjourned until June 22, 1934, at 5:30 o'clock P.M. CITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. JUNE 22, 1934. The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular adjourned session at the ' above time and place. Present at roll Call: Councilmen: Malone, Arnold, Meier, Chester, Morden and City Clerk. Absent: City Attorney. Councilman Meier offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIF- ORNIA TO SUPPLY FUNDS TO THE CITY OF AZUSA FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING FOR MATERIALS AND TRUCK HIRE IN CONNECTION WITH THE IMPROVEMENTS OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF AZUSA. Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by Councilman Arnold that this Resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1412. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Malone, Arnold, Meier, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: None. Moved by Councilman Meier, seconded by Councilman Arnold that the City Engineer be instructed to prepare the neceasary date for the purpose of making application for labor from the S.E.R.A. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Malone, Arnold, Meier, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: None. Councilman Malone offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIF- ORNIA, APPOINTING CERTAIN OFFICERS AND/OR EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY AND FIXING THE SALARIES OR COMPENSATION THEREOF. ' Moved by Councilman Malone, seconded by Councilman,Arnold that this Resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1413. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mal one, Arnold, Meier, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: None. 5:30 o'clock P.M. RESOLUTION NO. 1412 ADOPTED. Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by Councilman Arnold that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign a warrant in the amount of $6.00 made payable to the Azusa Citrus Association, for the purchase of stock. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Malone, Arnold, Meier, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent; None.
