A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA DECLARING THAT A CERTAIN PROJECT FOR THE
FURNISHING AND INSTALLING OF STREET LIGHT STANDARDS
CAN BE PERFORMED MORE ECONOMICALLY BY DAY LABOR
AND THE MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES FURNISHED AT A
LOWER PRICE IN THE OPEN MARKET AND ORDERING THE
PROJECT DONE IN THE MANNER STATED.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine
that notice inviting bids was duly given and published in the manner
provided by law for the furnishing and installing of street light
standards, that all bids received were duly opened and declared, and
that the City Council has rejected all bids received.
SECTION 2. The City Council does hereby find, determine and
declare that said project for the furnishing and installing of street
light standards can be performed more economically by day labor and the
material and supplies therefor furnished at a lower price in the open
market.
SECTION 3. It is hereby ordered that said project be done by
day labor and the materials and supplies obtained in the open market
without further compliance with Chapter 6, Part 2, Division 3, Title 4
of the Government Code.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 20th day of June, 1966.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 20th day of June, 1966, by the following vote of
the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Solem, McLees, Memmesheimer
