HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 5183u 0 RESOLUTION NO. 5183 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ABANDONING PROCEEDINGS FOR HALTERN STREET - AD 1966-1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa, by Resolution of Intention No. 5162, declared its intention to initiate proceedings for the construction of sidewalks on certain areas of Haltern Street, as described in said Reso- lution; and WHEREAS, a hearing thereon was held on January 16, 1967; and WHEREAS, a majority of the owners of property to be assessed for such improvement filed written protest with the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the proceedings for the improvement of Haltern Street, as initiated by Resolution of Intention No. 5162 of the City Council of the City of Azusa, hereby are abandoned. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and cause a certified copy thereof to be filed with the County Recorder of Los Angeles County. ATTEST: 4 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February , 1967. yr city Clerk yr 0 0 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution of Abandonment was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Azusa held on the 6th day of February , 1967s by the affirmative vote of at least four councilmen and further certify that the date the original Resolution of Intention was adopted was December 19, 1966 and the date the map of the Assessment District, pertaining thereto, was filed with the County Recorder was December 29, 1966. The councilmen voting in favor of this Resolution were as follows: AYES: Councilmen Rubio, Cooney, Solem, Memmesheimer NOES: Councilmen None ABSENT: Councilmen McLees - 2 -
