RESOLUTION NO. 5315
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING
AGREEMENT FOR ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES AND ENERGY BE-
TWEEN THE CITY OF AZUSA AND
AZUSA TOWEL SUPPLY
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AND THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST
SAME:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
BE IT RESOLVED that that certain Agreement for Installation and
Removal of Electric Distribution Facilities for Supplying Electrical
Energy for Power and Lighting Service dated 4 oCToBER, 1969 ,
between the City of Azusa Light and Power Department and
AZUSA TOWEL SUPPLY
the original of which is on file with the City Clerk of the City
of Azusa, be and the same is hereby approved;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Azusa be
and he is hereby authorized to sign the said contract for and on
behalf of the City and City Clerk is hereby directed to attest the
same. When so signed and attested and signed by all parties hereto,
a copy of said contract is to be delivered to said
AZUSA TOWEL SUPPLY
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this Resolution and
the City Clerk shall attest the same and certify to the passage and
adoption therof.

WITNESSETH:
THAT, WHEREAS, the City will install electric distribution facilities for the purpose of rendering any customer service,
provided the Customer shall pay to the City in advance the net cost or.___-Qua..Hundrei..and...M. ty...Dollars...................

installing and removing any facilities necessary in connection with the furnishing of such service by the City; and

payment of which sum by the Customer to the City is hereby acknowledged;
NOW THEREFORE, the City agrees to install its facilities for the purpose of rendering the Customer such service at the
above premises, said service to be supplied by the City at the standard voltage of ._.._149,0W .... _..... volts on the primary side
and ..all(}...._.3...0.....-volts on the secondary side of the transformer, as requested by the Customer. Said facilities will be
owned by the City on the property of the Customer, and it is expressly understood that the City and its authorized agents and
representatives shall at all times have complete and exclusive control of the operction, repair and maintenance of said facilities,
and/or the right to remove said facilities should the Customer fail to comply with all the provisions of this agreement, and the
City shall at all times have the right and privilege of ingress and/or egress in, upon, along, and over the property of said Cus-
tomer without any cost or expense whatsoever to the City for the use of said property upon which the said facilities are located.
The City will repay to the Customer, without interest, the monies adhanced herewith, provided:
(a) The Customer has used continuous service for three years from the date service is first rendered from the new facilities
installed as a result of the money advanced herewith;
(b) The Customer has paid to the City an average total of $12.00 .............. per month for .... ..,3.E1 ... Maxt$a...................................
charges based on the entire three-year period;
(c) The Customer agrees to continue to use not less than the same electric service for another three-year period after the
expiration of the aforesaid three-year period;
(d) The City is satisfied with the Customer's ability to meet its obligations for an additional three-year period.
(e) The provisions of this agreement have been complied with by the Customer.
The City further agrees that any repayment to the Customer of the monies advanced herewith will be made thirty days
after the conditions hereinbefore set forth have been complied with. However, if the Customer has not fully complied with
said conditions, then the monies advanced, or any part thereof, shall not be returned, and the Customer waives all rights and/or
claims to all or any portion of said monies advanced.
This agreement shall at all times be subject to such changes or modifications by the City Council of the City of Azusa as
said Council may from time to time direct in the exercise of its jurisdiction.

RESOLUTION NO. 5314
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4693 BY CHANGING
THE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE FOR PARK FOREMAN TO
PARK SUPERINTENDENT AND AMENDING EXHIBIT A
ATTACHED THERETO.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The classification schedules attached to
Resolution No. 4693, adopted July 20, 1964, as amended, are
hereby amended by substituting the classification schedule
for Park Superintendent, which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, in place and stead of the classification
schedule for Park Foreman, as now attached to said Resolution.
SECTION 2. That portion of Exhibit A attached to said
Resolution No. 4693, relating to the Public Works Department,
Park Division reading:
"1 Park Crew Foreman 25"
is amended, effective October 29, 1967 to read:
"1 Park Superintendent 3311
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 23rd day of October, 1967.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at an
adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of
October, 1967, by the following vote of the Council:

It PARK
Job Summary
Under general direction, plans, assigns and supervises the work of
several crews engaged in the planting, care and maintenance of park
and parkway trees, parks, parkways, landscaped areas and recreational
facilities; prepares landscape designs and lists of materials for
various landscaped areas; does related work as required.
Representative Duties
Plans and makes work assignments for subordinates engaged in the main-
tenance and landscaping of park grounds and municipal landscaped areas
and the maintenance of buildings and recreational facilities in parks;
inspects and reviews the work of subordinates; prepares basic land-
scape plans for new park areas, athletic fields and recreation areas
for review and approval of superiors; checks playground equipment for
planting, trimming, spraying and removal; maintains records for all
park and parkway trees; plans and supervises the planting and spraying
of shrubs, flower beds and grass; designs and supervises the installa-
tion and maintenance of automatic sprinkler systems; inspects to insure
that parks and other landscaped areas are kept clean; selects trees,
flowers, shrubs and grasses to be planted; estimates needs for and
requisitions tools, equipment and materials; purchases supplies and
materials; obtains bids for special items and work; supervises the
care and maintenance of tools and equipment; keeps records; prepares
reports; prepares budget for the Park Division.

Organizational Relationships
Park Superintendent is a one -position, supervisory class within the
Public Works Department. An employee of this class reports to the
Director of Public Works. The Park Superintendent is responsible
for three crews, each headed by a Maintenance Leadman, assisted by
two or more Maintenance hien or Senior Maintenance Men.
