RESOLUTION NO. 5298
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING
A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF,
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION I That certain Grant of Easement executed by Harold J. Fry and
John V. Fry, Joint Tenants
under date of 17th day of August 1957 , granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal
Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual
easement and right of way for public purposes for highway purposes
in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY
OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit:
That portion of Lot 19, Block 76, Map of Azusa, in the City of Azusa, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Miscellaneous Records
Book 15, Pages 93 through 96 inclusive in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot 19, said corner also being the
North line of First Street, (80 feet wide) as it existed on June 8, 1967; thence
S 89° 40' 14" E along said North line of First Street 102.92 feet to the true
point of beginning, said true point of beginning also being the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 27.00 feet; thence
Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 89° 59' 29" an arc
distance of 42.41 feet to a point of cusp in the westerly line of Azusa Avenue
(100 feet wide) as it existed on June 8, 1967; thence S 0° 20' 17" W along said
West line of Azusa Avenue 26.99 feet to said North line of First Street; thence
N 89° 40' 14" W along said North Line 26.99 to the true point of beginning.
Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County.
SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
