HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 52660 RESOLUTION NO. 5266 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF, The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by Edward Iskenderian and Alice S. Iskenderian under date of 8th day of June 1967 , granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for roadway purposes in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY - OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit: That portion of the Northeast One Quarter (1/4) of the Northwest One Quarter (1/4) of the Southwest One Quarter (1/4) of Section 3, Township 1 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Baseline and Meridian, as recorded in the United States Government District Land Office, County of Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Northeast One Quarter (1/4) as shown on the map recorded in Book 1 Page 50 of Parcel Maps in the office of the Los Angeles County Recorder; thence S 10 00' 48" W along the centerline of Clydebank Avenue (as it existed on May2, 1967) 46.48 feet; thence N 88° 59' 12" W 30.00 feet to the true point of beginning, said point being a point in the Westerly line of said Clydebank Avenue and being the beginning of a curve tangent to said Westerly line, concave to the Southwest having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Northwest along said curve through a central angle of 91° 31' 18" for an arc distance of 39.93 feet; thence S 89° 29' 30" W along a line parallel to and distant Southerly 40.00 feet measured at right angles to the proposed centerline of Gladstone Street as per CSB 1833.3 for a distance of 236.35 feet; thence N 0° 58' 12" E 22.20 feet; thence N 89° 55' 14" E along the Southerly line of Gladstone Street (as it existed on May 2, 1967) 246.75 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the Southwest having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 91° 05' 34" for an arc distance of 23.85 feet; thence S 1° 00' 48" W along said Westerly line of Clydebank Avenue 30.62 feet to the true point of beginning. Excepting that portion of the Easterly 285 feet of said Northeast One Quarter (1/4) lying Northerly of a line parallel to and 28 feet Southerly, measured at right angles, to saidproposed centerline of Gladstone Street, said parallel line also being the boundary of the City of Azu$a. Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County. SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. Adopted and approved this 17th day of July 19 67 /s/..
