RESOLUTION NO. 5251
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING
A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF,
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by Amforge, Inc.
under date of 28th day of April 1967 , granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal
Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual
easement and right of way for public purposes for roadway purposes
in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY
OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit:
That portion of Lot 68, of Subdivision No. 2, of Azusa Land and Water Co, as recorded in
Book 43 Page 94 of Miscellaneous Records in the office of the County Recorder, County of
Los Angeles, State of California more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of Lot 1, Tract 13791, as recorded in Map Book 361 pages
49 and 50 in the office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
thence northerly along the easterly line of Vernon Ave. (60.00 feet wide) as it existed on
August 4, 1964, a distance of 594.95 feet; thence easterly along a line parallel to and
distant 380.99 feet southerly from the south line of Ninth St. (60.00 feet wide) as it existed
on August 4, 1964, to a point 2.50 feet easterly (measured at right angles from the easterly
line of Vernon Ave.); thence southerly along a line parallel to and distant easterly 2.50 feet
from the easterly line of Vernon Ave, to a point on the northerly line of Lot l; thence
westerly to the point of beginning, excepting that portion of the above described parcel
bounded westerly by the easterly line of Vernon Ave.; bounded northerly by a line parallel
to and distant 426.94 feet southerly from the southerly line of Ninth St.; bounded easterly
by a line parallel to and distant 2.50 feet easterly from the easterly line of Vernon Ave. and
bounded southerly by a line parallel to and distant 455.50 feet northerly from the northerly
line of Lot 1.
Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause the some to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County.
SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the
City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 19th day of June,
1967 , by the following vote of the Council:

NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: None
