CITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. NOVEMBER 5, 1934. 7:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular session at the above
time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen:
Malone, Arnold, Meier, Chester, Morden,
City Attorney and City Clerk.
The minutes of the last regular meeting
of October 15, 1934 were read and approved
as read.
' Communications from C. E. Gauldin and
George Ott were read and ordered placed
on file.
Moved by Councilman Malone, seconded by
Councilman Chester that the sum of $324.68
be paid to the Gray Granite Company as the
City of Azusa's share in the monument
erected at Oakdale Cemetery in memory of
the Veterans of the World War.
Carried by the following vote of the
Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Malone, Arnold, Meier,
Chester, Morden.
Noes: None. Absent: None
Councilman Meier offered a Resolution
entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIF-
ORNIA, EMPLOYING PAUL E. SMITH AS A
REGULAR POLICE OFFICER.
Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by
Councilman Malone that this Resolution
be adopted as read and numbered Resolution
No. 1429.

ORDERING PAYMENT OF THE COST OF SUCH
SERVICE.
