HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 53640 0 RESOLUTION NO. 5364 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA PROHIBITING STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING OF VEHICLES ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS AND HIGHWAYS AND DIRECTING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO INSTALL THE PROPER SIGNS OR CURB MARKINGS. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The stopping, standing or parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on both sides of First Street from San Gabriel Avenue to Alameda Avenue. SECTION 2. The stopping, standing or parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on both sides of Azusa Avenue from First Street southward for a distance of eight hundred (800) feet. SECTION 3. Pursuant to Section 3200.36 of the Azusa Municipal Code, the Chief of Police is authorized and directed to place signs or curb markings along both sides of said portions of First Street and Azusa Avenue. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 4th day of March 1968.
