RESOLUTION NO. 5332
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED AND
DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The interest and title conveyed by that
certain Grant Deed executed by AZUSA FOOT -HILL CITRUS COMPANY
under date of December 14, 1967 , granting to the City of Azusa
the property therein particularly described is hereby accepted.
Said property is generally described as follows:
The parcel of land at the southeast corner of Sierra Madre and Dalton Avenues
formerly known at the "Gum Grove" and presently known as "Laura Durrell
Jones Park".
This deed is executed, delivered and accepted in correction of that certain deed
dated February 2, 1959 between the parties hereto, recorded December 3, 1959,
as Document No. 1333 in book D-682 page 142, Official Records, in which said
deed the property sought to be conveyed was erroneously described.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to execute certificate of acceptance in substantially
the form prescribed by Section 27281 of the Goverrment Code and
to cause the said Grant Deed and said Certificate to be filed
for record in the office of the County Recorder of the County
of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.

duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of January ,
1968, by the following vote of the Council:
