A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING
ACERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF,
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by Beatrice Locke, a married
woman,who acquired title as Beatrice Howard,
under date of 27th day of May 1968 , granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal
Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual
easement and right of way for public purposes for roadway
in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY_
OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit:
That portion of Lot 2 Tract No. 5115, in the City of Azusa, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 57 page 64 of Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 2; thence N 891 30' 00" W along the
south line of said Lot a distance of 27.00 feet; thence N 00 21' 10" E parallel to the East
line of said Lot a distance of 10.00 feet; thence N 45° 26' 07" E 24.01 feet to a line that
is parallel with and distant westerly 10.00 feet, measured at right angles from said East line;
thence S 89° 30' 00" E parallel to the South line of said Lot a distance of 10.00 feet to the
East line of said Lot; thence S 0° 21' 10" W along said East line 27.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
EXCEPTING therefrom the land described in the deed to the State of California recorded
on March 27, 1957 as Document No. 2052 in Book 54002, Page 260 of Official Records.
EXCEPTING ALSO therefrom the land described in deed to the City of Azusa as recorded on
March 19, 1959 as Document No. 3190 in Book D 404, Page 260 of Official Records.
Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County.
SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
