HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 54001] RESOLUTION NO. 5400 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST NORTHERLY ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 68. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby find and declare that on April 1, 1968, Resolution No. 5373 was duly adopted by the City Council initiating proceedings for the annexation to the City of Azusa of certain uninhabited territory therein described and designated as Northerly Annexation District No. 68, and fixing the 20th day of May, 1968, as the date for the hearing thereon; that proper notice of said proceedings and said hearing was duly given and published; and said hearing was duly held and finally adjourned on May 20, 1968; that a majority protest was not made or presented against said proposed annexation; and that thirty days have not elapsed after the closing of said hearing. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
