A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
TRANSFERRING CERTAIN SUMS FROM THE LIGHT AND WATER FUNDS
TO THE GENERAL FUND.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of $760,000.00 is hereby transferred from the Light and
Water Funds to the General Fund to reimburse the General Fund for services rendered to the
Light and Water Department and for expenses paid on behalf of said Department, and in lieu
of taxes that would be paid by said Department if it were a private utility.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 29th day of April, 1968.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council
of the City of Azusa at a regular adjourned meeting thereof held on the 29th day of April, 1968,
by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Decker, Calvert, Solem

RESOLUTION NO. 5390
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING
A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDING THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 . That certain Grant of Easement executed by Arnold T. Porchia and
Opal M. Porchia under date of 12th day of April, 1968, granting to the CITY OF AZUSA,
a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, and to the GENERAL TELEPHONE
COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a corporation, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual
easement and right of way for public purposes for utility purposes in, on, over, under, across
and along the following described real property situate in the CITY OF AZUSA, Los Angeles
County, State of California to wit:
That portion of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 34, T. IN., R.IOW., as recorded in the United States Government District Land
Office, said Section also being a portion of Rancho Azusa finally confirmed to Henry Dalton
as recorded in Book 2, Pages 106 and 107 of Patents in the office of the County Recorder,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Parcel 1 as shown on Parcel Map recorded in Book 4
Page 77 imthe office of said County Recorder; thence 5.69°33'50" W., along the Southerly
line of said Parcel 1, a distance of 160.07 feet; thence 5.53.42 feet, more or less, to the
Northerly line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Right -of -Way as described in
Book 634, Page 181 of Deeds, the distance between said Southerly line and said Northerly
line measures 50.00 feet at right angles; thence N.69°33'50" E., along said Northerly line
of Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway 160.07 feet to the Southerly prolongation of the
East line of said Parcel 1; thence N. along said Southerly prolongation 53.42 feet to the
point of beginning.
The easement hereby granted covers the West 3.00 feet thereof.
Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted and authorized to be filed for record in the
office of the County Recorder of said County.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.

RESOLUTION NO. 53819
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA PROVIDING FOR THE RECOGNITION OF CERTAIN
SIGNATURES AND FACSIMILE SIGNATURES ON WARRANTS.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The First National Bank of Azusa as a
designated depositary of this City be and it (including its corres-
pondent banks) is hereby requested, authorized, and directed to
honor all checks, drafts, or other orders for the payment of money
drawn in this City's name on its General Fund Account (including
those drawn to the individual order of any person or persons whose
names appear thereon as signer or signers thereof) WHEN BEARING OR
PURPORTING to bear the facsimile signature of any one of the
following:
Jens J. Solem, Mayor, or
Ira R. Calvert, Mayor Pro Tempore,
together with the written signatures of Dean F. Klarr, City Clerk,
or Dorothy Roehrich, Deputy City Clerk, and Alec Watkins, City
Treasurer, or Adelaide Johns, Deputy City Treasurer, examples of
those signatures appear below upon this resolution. The First
National Bank of Azusa (including its correspondent banks) shall
be entitled to honor and to charge this City's account for all
such checks, drafts or other orders for the payment of money, which
bear the written signatures above required, regardless of by whom
or by what means the actual or purported facsimile signature or
signatures thereon may have been affixed thereto, if such facsimile
specimens from time to time are filed with the First National Bank
of—Azusa by the City Clerk or other officer of this City.
SECTION 2. Resolutions Nos. 4343, 4405, 4646, 4822 and
5286 are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to
the First National Bank of Azusa.
