The City Council of the City of Azusa met'in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: Arnold, Chester, Morden, City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent: Councilmen: Malone and Meier. The minutes of the last regular meeting Minutes read and approved of January 7, 1935 were read and approved as read. •A communication, relative to the condition of the soil underneath the City Hall Building, was read and ordered placed on file. A communication from the Secretary of the Azusa Chamber of Commerce was read and Communications filed. order6d placed on file. A communication from Mrs. Laura Robinson, requesting that trees be planted on Azusa Avenue between Second and Fourth Streets, was read and -ordered placed on file. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF SEVEN'HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE DOLLARS ($731.00) FROM THE WATER RESERVE FUND TO THE WATER WORKS BOND FUND, 1901, TRANSFERRING FOUR HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-ONE DOLLARS AND TWENTY-FIVE"CENTS ($481.25) FROM THE WATER RESERVE FUND TO WATER WORKS IMPROVEMENT BOND FUND, 1906, TRANSFERRING ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY DOLLARS (1960.00) FROM THE Bids to furnish the City with gasoline were presented by the Standard 011 Company, Bids to furnish the City Union Oil Company, Richfield Oil Company, with gasoline ordered and Shell Oil Company. placed on file.
