A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A
CERTAIN DIRECTOR'S DEED NO. D -B5756 AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDING
THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 That certain Director's Deed No. D -B5756 executed by the State of California
Department of Public Works under date of 21st day of March 1969, granting to the CITY OF AZUSA,
a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to
perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for utility and/or sewer purposes in, on, over,
under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY OF AZUSA, Los
Angeles County, State of California to wit:
PARCEL]:
An easement for power facility purposes over those portions of Lots 63, 64, and 67 of Tract
No. 10660 as shown on map recorded in Book 164, pages 13 and 14 of Maps in the office of
the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of that certain easement conveyed to the City of Azusa
by deed recorded in Book D3537, page 480 of Official Records in said office; thence Easterly
along the continuation of the northerly curved line of said certain easement, having a radius
of 3000.00 feet, through an angle of 0° 57' 50" an arc distance of 50.47 feet; thence S 72°
13' 46" E, 152.96 feet; thence N 45° 02' 56" E, 16.08 feet to the easterly line of said
Lot 67; thence S 0° 02' 56" W along said easterly line to the southeasterly corner of last said
lot; thence Westerly along a line parallel with and distant Southerly 10.00 feet measured at
right angles to above mentioned course having a bearing of S 720 13' 46" E and along a curve
concentric with said curve having a radius of 3000.00 feet, said concentric curve being
concave Northerly and having a radius of 3,010 feet to the westerly line of said Lot 63; thence
Northerly along said westerly line to the point of beginning.
There shall be no abutter's rights of access appurtenant to the above-described real property
in and to the adjacent State freeway.
PARCEL 2:
A strip of land 10.00 feet wide for power facility purposes over that portion of Lot 51 of said
Tract No. 10660, the southerly line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at the southwesterly comer of that certain easement conveyed to the City of Azusa
by deed recorded in Book D3537, page 498 of Official Records in said office; thence Westerly
along the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of above mentioned certain easement
conveyed by said deed recorded in Book D3537 to the westerly line of said Lot 51 .
There shall be no abutter's rights of access appurtenant to the above-described real property
in and to the adjacent State freeway.
PARCEL 3:
An easement for power facility purposes over those portions of Lots 80 through 84, inclusive,
of said Tract No. 10660 and over those portions of Lot 6 and the south half of Lot 5, both
of Tract No. 7625 as shown on map recorded in Book 73, pages 33 and 34 of said Maps,
more particularly described as follows:
A strip of land 10.00 feet wide, the southerly line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the southerly line of that certain easement conveyed
by deed recorded in Book D3537, page 484 of said Official Records and the southerly line of
Lot 56 of said Tract No. 10660; thence S 76° 08' 08" E along the easterly prolongation of
the southerly line of said certain easement, a distance of 117.54 feet; thence S 69° 01' 12" E
to a point in the easterly line of said Lot 6, distant Northerly along said easterly line 12.80
feet from the southeasterly corner of said Lot 6.

There shall be no abutter's rights of access appurtenant to the above-described real property
in and to the adjacent State freeway.
PARCEL 4:
An easement for power facility and sewer purposes over portions of Lots 6 and 7 of Tract
No. 14472 as shown on map recorded in Book 294, pages 33 and 34 of Maps in the office
of the County Recorder of said County described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of said Lot 6 distant N 00° 04' 02" E, 30.39 feet
thereon from the southwesterly comer of said Lot 6; thence S 49° 49' 39" E, 62.72 feet;
thence S 89° 55' 17" E, 18.63 feet to a line parallel with and distant Northeasterly 12.00
feet measured at right angles to above mentioned course having a bearing of S 49° 49' 39" E;
thence Northwesterly along said parallel line to said westerly line of Lot 6; thence Southerly
along said westerly line to the point of beginning.
There shall be no abutter's rights of access appurtenant to the above-described real property
in and to the adjacent State freeway.
PARCEL 5:
An easement for sewer purposes over that portion of said Lot 7 of Tract No. 14472 more
particularly described as follows:
A strip of land 6.00 feet wide the northerly line of which is coincidental with the northerly
line of said Lot 7 and bounded Easterly by the following described curved line:
Beginning at a point in said northerly line of Lot 7 distant N 89° 55' 17" W thereon 22.63
feet from the northeasterly corner of said Lot 7; thence Southerly along a non -tangent curve
concave Westerly and having a radius of 290.00 feet, from a tangent bearing 5 22° 56' 44" W,
through an angle of 01° 17' 34" an arc distance of 6.54 feet and bounded Southwesterly by the
northeasterly line of hereinabove described PARCEL 4 having a bearing of S 49° 49' 39" E.
There shall be no abutter's rights of access appurtenant to the above-described real property
in and to the adjacent State freeway.
PARCEL 6:
An easement for power facility purposes over that portion of Lot 34 of said Tract No. 14472
acquired by Parcel 2 in deed recorded in Book D3556, page 749 of said Official Records.
There shall be no abbutter's rights of access appurtenant to the above-described real property
in and to the adjacent State freeway.
PARCEL 7:
An easement for power facility purposes over that portion of Lot 1 of Tract No. 13736 as shown
on map recorded in Book 275, pages 48, 49 and 50 of Maps described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southerly line of said Lot 1, distant S 89° 53' 00" E thereon 12.78
feet from the southwesterly corner of said Lot 1, said point being the beginning of a non -tangent
curve concave Easterly and having a radius of 52.00 feet; thence Northerly along said curve
from a tangent bearing N 18° 19' 12" E through an angle of 3° 31' 03", an arc distance of 3.19
feet; thence N 73° 25' 02" E, 31 .32 feet; thence S 00° 07' 00" W, 12.00 feet to said southerly
line of Lot 1; thence Westerly along said southerly line to the point of beginning.
There shall be no abutter's rights of access appurtenant to the above-described real property in
and to the adjacent State freeway.
PARCEL 8:
An easement for the conveyance of water over portions of Lots 38, 39, 40 and 55 of Tract
No. 13736 described as follows:

A strip of land 10.00 feet wide, the northeasterly line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the northerly line of said Lot 38, distant thereon S 89° 53' 21"E,
40.25 feet from the northwesterly comer of said Lot 38; thence S 50° 47' 12" E, 36.41 feet;
thence S 44° 19' 52" E, 277.43 feet to a tangent curve concave Southwesterly and having
a radius of 2000:00 feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve through an angle of 4° 08'
28" an arc distance of 144.58 feet to a point in the easterly line of the southerly 122.45
feet of said Lot 55, said point being distant Southerly thereon 5.33 feet from the north-
easterly corner of said southerly 122.45 feet, the southwesterly line of said easement area
shall be prolonged to terminate Northerly in the northerly line of said Lot 38 and Easterly
in the easterly line of said Lot 55.
There shall be no abutter's right of access appurtenant to the above-described real
property iman8 to the adjacent State freeway.
PARCEL 9:
An easement for power facility purposes over a portion of Lot 1 in Block "C" of Subdivision
No. 1 of lands of Azusa Land and Water Company, as per map recorded in Book 16, pages
17 and 18 of Miscellaneous Records in the office of the County Recorder of said County as
excepted and reserved by the State of California in deed recorded in Book D3600, page 607
of Official Records in said office.
There shall be no abutter's rights of access appurtenant to the above-described real property
in and to the adjacent State freeway.
PARCEL 10:
An easement for power facility purposes over portions of Lots 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85 and
86 of Tract No. 18890 as shown on map recorded in Book 469, pages 28 to 32, inclusive,
of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County described as follows:
That portion of said Lot 80 acquired as an easement by the State of California by Parcel IA
of Final Order of Condemnation, Superior Court Case No. 895330, a certified copy of
which was recorded in Book D3917, page 198 of Official Records in said office, together
with those portions of said Lots 81 and 82 as excepted and reserved in deeds from the State
of California recorded in Book D3642, page 682 and in Book D3498, pages 438, 439 and
440 of said Official Records, together with those portions of said Lots 83, 84, 85, and 86
described as follows:
A strip of land 12.00 feet wide, the southerly line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of said certain easement reserved in said Book D3498,
said corner being distant along the easterly line of said Lot 82, S 0° 06' 46" W,78.11 feet
from the northeasterly corner of said Lot 82; thence N 84° 33' 57" E to the easterly line of
said Lot 86.
There shall be no abutter's rights of access appurtenant to the above-described real property
in and to the adjacent State freeway.

TOGETHER with all necessary or convenient means of ingress or egress to and from
PARCELS 1 THROUGH 10, inclusive, for the above described purposes; provided,
however, that the owner of the land underlying said easement may use the surface
thereof without, however, the right to build permanent structures thereon.
Said Director's Deed No. D-95756 is hereby accepted and authorized to be filed
for record in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
