OF NEW LEGISLATION TO REVISE OR AMEND EXISTING INEQUITIES
IN THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA PERTAINING TO
ASSESSING AND TAXING OF REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, on November 5, 1968, the voters of the State of
California expressed their opposition to Proposition 9 -
Watson Amendment on real property tax relief, and

legislation that will revise our archaic real property tax
laws and procedures of assessing in the State of California,
and
WHEREAS, for the past number of years the real property
taxpayer has been promised by his state representative
relief in this field of taxation, and

initiative amendment, Proposition 9,

of the City of Azusa initiate new legislation that would revise
or amend as necessary the existing inequities in the laws of the
State of California pertaining to assessing and taxing of real
