HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 56150 0 RESOLUTION NO. 5615 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DETERMINING THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IS NOT REQUIRED FOR CITY PURPOSES AND AUTHORIZING THE LEASING THEREOF. The City Council of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby determine that the real property owned by it and described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference is not required for City purposes. SECTION 2. Said real property may be leased for commercial development for business purposes on terms and conditions satisfac- tory to the City Council pursuant to Section 37395 of the Government Code. SECTION 3, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 18th day of August 1969. �oc.dJ Mayor I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of Au ust , 1969, by the following vote of -We- Council: AYES: Councilmen: Decker, Cooney, Calvert, Solem NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: Rubio EXHIBIT "A" Those portions of Lot 53, Subdivision No. 2 of Azusa Land and Water Company, in the city of Azusa, county of Los Angeles, state of California, as per map recorded in book 43 page 94 of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the county recorder of said county, described as follows: PARCEL 1: Beginning at a point on the northerly line of Fifth Street, as said street is shown on map of Tract No. 8501, as per map recorded in book 97 pages 38 and 39 of Maps, distant South 89° 51' 20" West 525 feet from the southwest corner of Lot 8 of Tract No. 7673 which is the true point of beginning, as per map recorded in book 111 pages 14 and 15 of Maps; thence along said north line of Fifth Street, South 89°51' 20" West 221.14 feet; thence North °08' 40" West 196.98 feet; thence North 89° 51' 20" East 221.14 feet to a line parallel with the east line of said Lot 53 and passing through the true point of beginning; thence South 0°80' 40" East 196.98 feet to the true point of beginning. EXCEPT therefrom any portion of Virginia Avenue, as now established 60 feet wide. ALSO EXCEPT that portion of said land bounded as follows: On the east by the westerly line of Virginia Avenue, as shown on the map of Tract No. 13810, re- corded in book 280 page 18 and 19 of Maps, in said office of the county recorder; on the west by a line that is parallel with and distant 125 feet westerly (measured at right angles) from said wes- terly line of Virginia Avenue; on the north by the southerly line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right of way (100 feet wide) as shown on the map of Tract No. 13790, recorded in book 275 pages 46 and 47 of Maps, in said office of the county recorder; and on the south by a line that is 256.98 feet northerly (measured at right angles) from the northerly line of Fifth Street (60 feet Wide) as shown on said map of Tract No. 13790. 1 EXHIBIT "A"
