HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 5669RESOLUTION NO. 5669 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by E. O. Rodeffer, Johnny E. Johnson and Glenn R. Watson under date of day of 19 granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for roadway in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CIT OF AZUSA,. Los Angeles County, State of California to wit: - Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County. SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. Adopted and approved this 5th day of January 19 70 /s/ ayor oity of Azusa I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a11 meeting thereof, held on the qday of January 19 70 , by the fol owing vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Decker, Snyder, Calvert, Solem NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: None /s/ City Clerk of the City of Azusa That portion of Lot 65, Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and Water Company, as shown on map recorded in Book 43, page 94, of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, within a strip of land 50 feet wide, the southeasterly line of said strip being parallel with and 50 feet southeasterly, measured at right angles, or radially, from the southeasterly line of Sierra Madre Avenue, 50 feet widei as shown on map of Tract No. 253092 filed in Book 750, pages 71 through 76, inclusive, of Maps, in the office of said Recorder. The sidelines of said strip shall be prolonged or shortened northeasterly so as to terminate in the westerly line of the land described in deed to the City of Azusa, recorded in Book D2880, page 215, of Official Records, in the office of said Recorder, and shall be prolonged or shortened southwesterly so as to terminate in the westerly line of said Lot 65. Part (b): That portion of Lots 56 and 5/2 said Subdivision, within a strip of land 100 feet wide, the.centerline of said strip being described as follows: Beginning at the'southeasterly terminus of that line described as having a bearing and length of "N. 380 44' 12" W. 50.01 feet" in deed to City of Azusa, recorded in Book D3119, page 440, of said Official Records; thence S. 500 12' 55" W. 509.64 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the north and having a radius of 1459 feet; thence westerly along said curve to the westerly line of said Lot 56.
