Moved by Councilman Carr, seconded by Councilman Arnold that this matter be re- ferred to the City Attorney to report back at the next regular meeting. Councilman 'Arnold offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY , CALIF- ORNIA AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR AND ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SERA RELATING TO THE WRITING OF THE HISTORY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA. Moved by Councilman Carr, seconded by Councilman McIntire that this Resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1449. The matter of establishing a Registrar's Office for the Labor Coordinating Bureau, was discussed. Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Councilman Carr that same be referred to the City Council as a Committee of the Whole. ' The matter of purchasing a $25.00 book which entitles Councilmen and City Officials to take advantage of the Seventh Annual Institute of Government, conducted by the University of Southern California, was offered. Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Councilman Carr that the City Clerk be instructed to order such a book. 171 Request for refund on taxes referred to the City Attorney.
