HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 58390 6 RESOLUTION N0.5839 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING MRS. JOAN PARKS WHEREAS, Mrs. Joan Parks is retiring from the service of the City of Azusa, as of May 1, 1971; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Parks enjoys the distinction of having served the City of Azusa in two distinct Civil Service positions: starting on February 26, 1953, in the Office of the City Clerk, where she became Deputy City Clerk; and later as Personnel Clerk from February, 1960, until her retirement; and WHEREAS, in the performance of her important duties Mrs. Parks brought fidelity and great diligence to the positions in which she functioned; and WHEREAS, the many years of labor she has devoted to the arduous tasks she assumed has contributed much of value to our city operations; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa, California, that it be hereby recorded that Mrs. Joan Parks has earned this City's commendation, and it is the ardent wish of officials and citizens alike, for many years of happy and untroubled retirement. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
