HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 5836RESOLUTION NO. 5836 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by MARFIELD, INC. a California Corporation under date of 2nd day of December, 19 70, granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for Sanitary Sewer in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit: A strip of land consisting of the north 15 feet of the east 10 feet of the following described land (the easterly line of said strip of land being the westerly line of Azusa Avenue and the southerly line of said strip of land being parallel to the northerly line of said strip of land): That portion of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 3, Township 1 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino meridian, in the city of Azusa, County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as fol lows: Beginning at the intersection of the easterly line of Tract No. 18745, as shown on map recorded in book 502, pages 20, 21 and 22 of Maps, in the office of the county recorder of said county, with the northerly line of the southerly 60 feet of said section 3; thence along said northerly line, South 86° 56' 45" East 326.66 feet; thence parallel with the westerly line of Azusa Avenue, 100 feet wide, (as said westerly line is described in deed to the State of California recorded in book 17832 page 124, Official Records, in said office of the county recorder) North 00 00:' 20" East 574.75 feet to the southerly line of the northerly 44 feet of said southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 3; thence along said southerly line South 870 34' 22" East 304.84 feet to said westerly line of Azusa Avenue; thence along said westerly line, South 00 00' 20" West 316.80 feet to the true point of beginning of the property herein described; thence North 89° 59' 40" West 254.60 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave southeasterly and having a radius of 20 feet; thence southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 900 an arc distance of 31 .42 feet; thence tangent to said curve South 0° 00' 20" West to a point on the northerly line of the southerly 185 feet of Section 3; thence South 860 56' 45" East 275 feet along said northerly line to the above described westerly line of Azusa Avenue; thence North 00 00' 20" East 136.29 feet along said Azusa Avenue to the true point of beginning of the property herein described. Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
