RESOLUTION NO. 5924
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT
AND ACCEPTING THE RECORDING THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That certain Grant of Easement executed
by William G. Keefer and Elva Loraine Keefer, husband and wife,
under date of the 2nd day of June, 1971, granting to the CITY
OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California,
its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and
right of way for public purposes for roadway in, on, over, under,
across and along the following described real property situate
in the CITY OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California,
to wit:
Part A:
That portion of that certain parcel of land in
the northeast quarter of Section 35, Township 1 North,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho Azusa finally confirmed
to Henry Dalton, as shown on map recorded in Book 2,
pages 106 and 107, of Patents, in the office of the
Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, described in
deed William G. Keefer et ux, recorded as Document
No. 427, on January 4, 1963, in Book D1873, page
629, of Official Records, in the office of said
Recorder, which lies northerly of a line parallel
with and 15 feet southerly, measured at right angles,
from the southerly line of that certain 44 foot strip
of land described in deed to County of Los Angeles,
for public road and highway purposes, recorded as
Document No. 118, on March 10, 1911, in Book 4473,
page 165, of Deeds, in the office of said Recorder.
To be known as FOOTHILL BOULEVARD.
Part B:
That portion of the northeast quarter of above
mentioned section, within the following described
boundaries:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line
of that certain parcel of land described in deed to
County of Los Angeles, for Los Angeles Street, recorded
on November 5, 1925, in Book 5520, page 56, of above
mentioned Official Records, with the southerly line of
above described Part A; thence easterly along said
southerly line to the beginning of a curve concave to
the southeast, having a radius of 17 feet, tangent to
said southerly line and tangent to said westerly line;
thence southeasterly along said curve to said westerly
line; thence northerly along said westerly line to
the point of beginning.
To be known as FOOTHILL BOULEVARD.

Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the
filing of same by the Los Angeles County Department of Real
Estate Management for record in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, on behalf of the City of Azusa, is
hereby ratified.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
Adopted and approved this 5th day of December, 1971.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a
regular meeting thereof, held on the 6th day of December, 1971,
by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Decker, Snyder, Clark, Solem
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: Rubio
