HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 5913r :s RESOLUTION NO. 5913 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by Johnny E. Johnson, E. O. Rodeffer and Glenn R. Watson under date of day of , 1971, granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for roadway in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit: That portion of Lots 36, 40 and 41 of Subdivision No. 2, of Azusa Land and Water Company in the City of Azusa, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 43, Page 94 of miscellaneous records in the office of the county recorder of said county, described as follows: PARCEL A Commencing at the Northwesterly comer of said Lot 41, thence South 0° 06' 24" West a distance of 50.00 feet along the Westerly line of said Lot 41 to the true point of beginning; thence continuing South along said Westerly line to the Northwesterly corner of that deed described in Book 3422, Pa3 es 409 through 411 of said county recorder; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said deed to a point in the Easterly line of Todd Avenue (70 feet wide as it existed September, 1971); thence North 90 06' 24" East to a point in the southerly line of Sierra Madre Avenue, said Southerly line being a curve concave to the South having a radius of 1650 feet; thence along said Southerly line to the true point of beginning. PARCEL B Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of said Lot 41, thence North 89° 49' 31 " East a distance of 0.07 feet to the beginning of a curve concave to the South having a radius of 1700.00 feet, said curve also being the centerline of Sierra Madre Avenue as it existed September, 1971; thence along said curve through a central angle of 10° 14' 43" an arc distance of 303.98 feet; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of Tract No. 23717, as recorded in Book 807, Page 20 of said county recorder to the Southwest comer of Lot 1 of said tract; thence Westerly along a curve having a radius of 1750.00 feet and measured 50.00 feet at right angles to the centerline of Sierra Madre Avenue, to a point in the Westerly line of said Lot 40; thence Westerly along a line parallel to and 50.00 feet Northerly of the Southerly line of said Lot 36 to a point in the Northerly prolongation of the Westerly line of Todd Avenue as described in deed in Book 3277, Pages 523 through 525 of said county recorder; thence Southerly to the Northwesterly corner of that deed described in Book 3277, Pages 523 through 525; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said deed to the point of beginning. Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of said County. SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. r Adopted and approved this 1st day of November , 1971.
