HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 59880 RESOLUTION NO. 5988 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,COMMENDING FERN ADAMS. WHEREAS, Mrs. Fern Adams was first employed by the City of Azusa on March 10, 1962, as a Stenographer -Clerk in the Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, she has diligently served the City, both in said capacity and her subsequent promo- tion to Senior Secretary, until her retire- ment on June 30, 1972; and WHEREAS, Fern brought to her work a quiet grace and dignity, and a keen concern for the people of the City, discharging her duties in a commendable manner and meeting the problem of citizen complaints with the special element of care for the person's problems; and WHEREAS, her faithfulness, diligence, concern and dedication has made her many friends and has reflected well upon the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa that Fern Adams be highly commended for her unselfish service to the City and the people of the community, and the Council extend its wishes for a full and enjoyable retirement. 1972.
