(PINKY) HUNTER UPON HER INSTALLATION AS PRESIDENT OF THE WOMEN POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION. WHEREAS, Police Woman M. P. (Pinky) Hunter has served the City of Azusa faithfully and diligently for many years; and WHEREAS, Pinky has been selected by her peers to the honor of President of the Women Police Officers' Association, which is a state-wide organization; and WHEREAS, this signal respect and held by this honor confirms the high regard in which Pinky is City and its people; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa that Police Woman M. P. (Pinky) Hunter be hereby accorded the highest honor and esteem upon her installation as President of the Women Police Officers' Association, and the warmest congratulations are hereby extended by the Council of this City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and transmit a Certified Copy to Pinky Hunter. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa hereby appoints Mayor Jens J. Solem as the City of Azusa member of the City Selection Committee for the Southern California Rapid Transit District. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall transmit a copy thereof to the Secretary of the Southern California Rapid Transit District. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Willard R. Decker , a member of the City Council of the City of Azusa, is hereby selected as a Director to serve on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles County Division of the League of California Cities. Fernando A. Rubio , a member of the City Council of the City of Azusa, is hereby selected as the alternate Director to act as a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles County Division of the League of California Cities in place of the Director of the City of Azusa during his absence, inability or refusal to act. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall transmit a copy thereof to the Los Angeles County Division of the League of California Cities. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Willard R. Decker , a member of the City Council of the City of Azusa, is hereby selected as the alternate member of the District Governing Board of County Sanitation District No. 22 in place of the Mayor of the City of Azusa during his absence, inability or refusal to act. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1.
