HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 5968RESOLUTION NO. 5968 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, COMMENDING CLEO HORN. WHEREAS, Mrs. Cleo Horn was first employed by the City of Azusa in January 17, 1957, as a Cashier Clerk in the Light and Water Consumer Service Office; and WHEREAS, she has diligently served the City, both in said capacity and her subsequent promotion to Intermediate Utility Clerk, until her retirement on September 21, 1971; and WHEREAS, Cleo brought to her work a keen concern for the people and customers of the City, discharging her duties in a commendable manner and meeting the problem of citizen complaints with the special element of care for the person's problems; and WHEREAS, her faithfulness, diligence, concern, and dedication has made her many friends and has reflected well upon the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa that Cleo Horn be highly commended for her unselfish service to the City and the people of the community, and the Council extend its wishes for a full and enjoyable retirement. Adopted and approved this 3rd day of April, 1972.
