HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 6031RESOLUTION NO. • 6031 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by JOHNNY E. JOHNSON, a married man and GLENN R. WATSON, a married man, under date of 1st day of September, 1972, granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for electrical utility in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate int e OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit: That portion of Lot 65 of Subdivision No. 2 of Azusa Land and Water Company, in the City of Azusa, as per map recorded in Book 43 Page 95 of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the county recorder of said county, being a strip of land 6 feet in width, and lying 3 feet on each side of the following described centerline: Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of that certain parcel of land described in deed to Hallcraft Homes, Inc., recorded December 13, 1971 as Instrument No. 835 of Official Records, in the office of said county recorder, said Southerly line being described in said deed as having a bearing and distance of "North.870 57' 28" East, 604.52 feet", and said point being distant along said Southerly line South 870 57' 28" West 6.00 feet from the Easterly terminus of said Southerly line; thence South 00 27' 02" East to the Southerly line of said Lot 65. The sidelines of said strip of land shall be prolonged or shortened so as to terminate Southerly in said Southerly line of Lot 65 and so as to terminate Northerly in said Southerly line of said parcel of land described in deed to Hallcraft Homes, Inc. SUBJECT TO covenants, conditions, restrictions, reservations and easements of record. No pole, wire, equipment or structure shall be located above the surface of the ground and shall be buried at least 24" below the surface so as not to interfere with use of the surface for golf course purposes. Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County. SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
