A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION
THEREOF
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The interest and title conveyed by that certain Grant Deed executed
by Monrovia Nursery Company,' a California Corporation, under date of October 2, 1972,
granting to the City of Azusa the property therein particularly described is hereby accepted.
Said property is generally described as follows:
That portion of Lot 3, Section 26, Township 1 North, Range 10 West, San Bernardino
Meridian, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, according to the Official
Plat of said land filed in the District Land Office, April 6, 1876, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of said Lot 3, distant thereon along said
westerly line North 0° 19' 40" East, 25.00 feet from the southwesterly corner of
said lot, said point being also a point on the northerly right-of-way line of Sierra
Madre Avenue; 50.00 feet wide; thence northerly along the westerly line of said
Lot 3, North 0° 19' 40" East, 425.00 feet; thence North 60° 19' 40" East, 179.89
feet; thence South 440 40' 20" East, 98.03 feet; thence South 00° 19' 40" West,
85.00 feet; thence South 45° 19' 40" West, 85.00 feet; thence South 89° 40' 20"
West 135.00 feet; thence South 0° 19' 40" West, 300.00 feet to a point on the
northerly right-of-way line of Sierra Madre Avenue, 50.00 feet wide; thence
westerly along said northerly right-of-way line, South 890 19' 30" West, 30.00
feet to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 1.057 Acres more or less.
EXCEPTING and reserving therefrom an easement for purposes of ingress and egress,
30 feet in width measured at right angles from the westerly line of said Lot 3, from
Sierra Madre Avenue on the south to the northerly line of said aforementioned
Grant Deed.
This deed supersedes and takes the place of that certain Grant Deed recorded in
Book D5554, Page 130 and 131 of Official Records, dated August 2, 1972.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to execute the
certificate of acceptance in substantially the form prescribed by Section 27281 of the Govern-
ment Code and to cause the said Grant Deed and said Certificate to be filed for record in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles. .
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
