HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 6150RESOLUTION NO. 6150 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY INCLUDED IN NORTHERLY ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 75 TO THE CITY OF AZUSA. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa, by Resolution No. 6143, did initate proceedings for the annexation of certain uninhabited territory to the City of Azusa (Northerly Annexation District No. 75 to the City of Azusa); WHEREAS, said resolution -fixed November 19, 1973, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Azusa as the time and place for the public hearing of protests and objections to said annexation; WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of said hearing was published and mailed as required by law; WHEREAS, all proceedings have been had in accordance with said Resolution No. 6143 and the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, reference thereto hereby being made for further particulars; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and declare that a majority protest has not been made against the annexation of that territory included in Northerly Annexation District No. 75 to the City of Azusa. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 19th day of November , 1973. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day of November , 19732 by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Decker, Snyder, Clark, Solem NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: None
