HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 6144RESOLUTION NO. 6144 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CITRUS AVENUE WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain monies to the City of Azusa as County Aid to Cities; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the amount of $2,500.00 of said funds accrued to the City for the improvement of Citrus Avenue between Gladstone Street and Arrow Highway; and WHEREAS, Citrus Avenue is included in the City's currently approved Select System of Streets and in the County's Master Plan of Highways, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Azusa resolves that: 1 . The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to allocate $2,500.00 of the Aid to Cities Funds apportioned to the City for the work specified above. 2. After the allocation is approved by the Board of Supervisors and funds are available, the County of Los Angeles Road Department is authorized and requested to retain the money to perform said work in accordance with plans approved by the City. 3.
