I hereby certify that I received the attached "Notice of
Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Azusa" at
11:00 o'clock on the 10th day of September, 1935, and that I
served the same on the hereinafter named persons, who are
members of the City Council of said City of Azusa, at the time
set after their respective names, by personally delivering to
and leaving with said persons a true copy of the attached
"Notice of Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Azusa."

The City,Attorney advised the Council
to adjourn in view of the fact that he
had not been able to contact the State
Administrator, Ben H. Brown, who will
represent Mr. Whalen's interests; Mr.
Brown having been apointed Administrator
of Mr. Whalen's estate on September 51
1935 according to Mr. Borns testimony.
Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by
Councilman Arnold that the Council adjourn.
