A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING
A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by JOHNNY E. JOHNSON
and GLENN R. WATSON
under date of 26th day of February 1973, granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal
Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual
easement and right of way for public purposes for Storm Drain
in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate int e CITY
OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit:
That portion of Lots 56 and 57 of Subdivision No. 2 of Azusa Land and Water Company,
in the City of Azusa, as per map recorded in Book 43, page 95 of Miscellaneous Records,
in the office of the County Recorder of said County, being a strip of land 10 feet in width,
lying 10 feet Northeasterly of the following described sideline.
Commencing at the intersection of the Northwesterly line of Sierra Madre Avenue, 100 feet
wide, and the Southwesterly line of Tract No. 25309 as per maps recorded in Book 750,
pages 71 through 76 of Maps, records of the County of Los Angeles, California; thence
South 50° 12' 55" West, along the Northwesterly line of Sierra Madre Avenue, 510.56 feet
to the beginning of a curve concave to the Northwest; thence Southwesterly along said curve
through an arc of 5° 14' 59", a distance of 128.28 feet to the true POINT OF BEGINNING;
thence in a direct line bearing North 32° 02' 26" West a distance of 286.94 feet more or less
to the most southerly corner of Lot 46 of said Tract No. 25309.
The Northeasterly line of said strip of land shall be prolonged or shortened so as to create a
continuous strip of land between the Northwesterly line of Sierra Madre Avenue and the
Southeasterly line of said Tract No. 25309.
SUBJECT to covenants, conditions, restrictions, reservations and easements of record.
With the exception of one manhole structure, no other structure shall bd located above the
surface of the ground and shall be buried at least 24" below the surface so as not to inter-
fere with the surface for golf course purposes.
Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause the same to be filed for.record in the office of the County Records of said County.
SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
