RESOLUTION NO. 6069
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CORPORATION
GRANT DEED AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION
THEREOF
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The interest and title conveyed by that certain
Corporation Grant Deed executed by AZUSA AGRICULTURAL WATER COMPANY, under
date of March 1, 1973, granting to the City of Azusa the property therein particularly
described is hereby accepted. Said property is generally described as follows:
In Subdivision 02 of Azusa Land and Water Company, the Lot commencing
at the Southwest comer of Lot 59, then Easterly along the South line of
said Lot 324 feet, then Northerly 150 feet, then Easterly 190 feet, then
Southerly 150 feet, then Easterly on said South line 146 feet, then
Northerly 660 feet, then westerly to the Southeast line of U. S. Govt.
land (OR 24825-89) then Southwesterly to West line of said Lot, then
Southerly to beginning.
All of Grantor's water production and distribution facilities, including
pipelines, wells, equipment, appurtenances, and other improvements.
All right, title, and interest of Grantor in waters of the Main San Gabriel
Basin and the watershed of the San Gabriel River.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
execute certificate of acceptance in substantially the form prescribed by Section 27281
of the Government Code and to cause the said Corporation Grant Deed and said Certificate
to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of the
Resolution.
Adopted and approved this 2nd day of March , 1973.
