A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING
THE DIRECTOR OF PERSONNEL AND/OR THE CIVIL
SERVICE COMMISSION OF THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES TO PERFORM PERSONNEL SERVICES.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa
hereby requests the Director of Personnel and/or the Civil
Service Commission of the County of Los Angeles to perform
on behalf of said City personnel services; all pursuant to
the terms and provisions of the General Services Agreement
which said City entered into with the County of Los Angeles
on August 19, 1957.
SECTION 2. The payment for these personnel services
will be in accordance with the terms and provisions of the
General Services Agreement which said City entered into with
the County of Los Angeles on August 19, 1957.
SECTION 3. Said personnel services are to be per-
formed upon direction of the City Council or its designated
agent.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and shall transmit the certified
copy thereof to the County of Los Angeles.
Adopted and approved this 15th day of February, 1973.

regular meeting thereof held on the °'5th day of February, 1973,

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION
FOR GRANT FUNDS FROM THE CALIFORNIA COUNCIL
ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE FOR AZUSA PROJECT DIVERT
AND ASSURING COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIRE-
MENTS THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the California Council on Criminal
Justice may consent to review for possible funding the project
submitted by the City of Azusa referred to as Azusa Project
Divert.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor
of the City of Azusa, is directed to execute and submit to the
California Council on Criminal Justice, on behalf of the City
of Azusa, the application for grant for law enforcement purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event the
California Council on Criminal Justice consents to fund the above
project, the City of Azusa agrees to accept the grant and
designates the Mayor to execute, on behalf of the City of Azusa,
the contract for the grant for law enforcement purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant
agrees to provide the required matching funds to said project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received
hereunder shall not be used to supplant ongoing law enforcement
expenditures.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
authorized to certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
