A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA CREATING AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY
DISTRICT FOR THE UNDERGROUNDING OF WIRES AND
FACILITIES FOR SUPPLYING ELECTRIC, COMMUNICATION
AND SIMILAR UTILITY SERVICES AT THE INTERSECTION
OF CITRUS AVENUE WITH ALOSTA AVENUE.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby finds and determines
that the public necessity, health, safety or welfare requires
the creation of an Underground Utility District in the City of
Azusa to be known as "Citrus Avenue Underground Utility District
No. 1", for the undergrounding of wires and facilities for
supplying electric, communication and similar utility services.
SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district are described
on the map which is attached hereto and by this reference incor-
porated herein.
SECTION 3. It is estimated that undergrounding work
will commence in October:.�of 1974 and be completed within a year
thereafter.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and cause a certified copy thereof •to be
transmitted to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los
Angeles, the Southern California Edison Company and the General
Telephone Company.
Adopted and approved this 17th day of December, 1973.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of December
1973, by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Decker, Snyder, Clark, Solem
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: None
