A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA VACATING A CERTAIN PORTION OF ELEVENTH
STREET WHICH HAS BEEN SUPERSEDED BY RELOCATION
SUBJECT TO THE RESERVATION AND EXCEPTION OF
CERTAIN RIGHTS AND EASEMENTS.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa does
hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
(a) That a certain portion of Eleventh Street in the
City of Azusa has been superseded by relocation and the superseded
portion thereof is no longer required for public street and highway
purposes.
(b) That Eleventh Street, as reconstructed, conforms
to the City's Master Plan of Streets.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Sections 1930 through 1934 of
the Streets and Highways Code, the City Council of the City of
Azusa does hereby vacate the following described portion of Eleventh
Street which has been superseded by relocation:
A portion of Lot 56 and Eleventh Street as shown
on Map of Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and Water
Co. recorded in Book 43, Page 94 of Miscellaneous
Records on file in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the northerly
prolongation of easterly line of Vernon Avenue
and the northerly line of Eleventh Street as
shown on the Azusa Heights Tract recorded in
Subdivision Tract Map Book 11, Page 49; thence
along said northerly line of Eleventh Street,
N. 89° 21' W., 136.95 feet to a point on the
easterly right-of-way of Vernon Avenue, 100 feet
wide, as existed on January 30, 1975; thence along
said right-of-way line S. 290 21' 11" E., 13.09
feet; thence along a tangent curve, concave to the
northeast, having a radius of 25.00 feet through a
central angle of 84° 43' 22", a distance of 36.97
feet to a point of reverse curve; thence along the
reverse curve concave to the southeast having a
radius of 235.00 feet through a central angle
24° 43' 33" a distance of 101.41 feet to the
point of beginning.
RESERVING AND EXCEPTING from said vacation the
permanent easement and right at any time or from
time to time, to construct, maintain, operate,
replace, remove, and renew sanitary sewers, storm
drains and appurtenant structures thereof and to
construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove,
renew, and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables,
wires, poles and other convenient structures,
equipment and fixtures for the operation of water
0
lines, telegraphic and telephone energy, including
access and the right to keep the property free from
inflammable materials, and wood growth, and other-
wise protect the same from all hazards in, upon, and
over the street or part thereof hereby vacated. .
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and cause the same to be recorded with the office
of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles and to file all other
necessary documents in order that this vacation become effective.
