A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING
A CERTAIN ROAD DEED AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 The interest and title conveyed by that certain Road Deed executed by
Mabelle Scott Anderson, a widow, George Scott Pieper and Nancy L. Pieper, husband and wife,
Walter Scott Parker and Katharine R. Parker, husband and wife, Mary Belle Avakian, an unmarried
woman, June Belle Parker, an unmarried woman, under date of October 8, 1973, granting to the
CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, the property therein
particularly described is hereby accepted. Said property is generally described as follows:
PART A:
That portion of that certain parcel of land in the northeast quarter of Section 35,
Township 1 North, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Azusa finally confirmed to Henry
Dalton, as shown on map recorded in Book 2, pages 106 and 107, of Patents, in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, described in deed Mabelle Scott
Anderson et al, recorded as Document No. 620, on July 30, 1942, in Book 19417,
page 338, of Official Records, in the office of said Recorder, which lies northerly of
a line parallel with and 15 feet southerly, measured at right angles, from the southerly
line of that certain 44 foot strip of land described in deed to County ofJLos Angeles,
for public road and highway purposes, recorded as Document No. 118, on March 10,
1911, in Book 4473, page 165, of Deeds, in the office of said Recorder.
To be known as Foothill Boulevard.
PART B:
That portion of the northeast quarter of above mentioned section, within the
following described boundaries:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line of that certain parcel of land
described in deed to County7of Los Angeles, for Los Angeles Street, recorded on
November 5, 1925, in Book 5520, page 56, of above mentioned Official Records,
with the southerly line of above described Part A; thence easterly along said southerly
line to the beginning of a curve concave to the southeast, having a radius of 17 feet,
tangent to said southerly line and tangent to said westerly line; thence southwesterly
along said curve to said westerly line; thence northerly along said westerly line to the
point of beginning.
To be known as Foothill Boulevard.
SECTION 2 The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to execute certificate of
acceptance in substantially the form prescribed by Section 27281 of the Government Code and
to cause the said Road Deed and said Certificate to be filed for record in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.

1974, by the following vote of the Council:
