HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 63740 RESOLUTION NO. 6374 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6290, RELATING TO OVERTIME PAY FOR EMPLOYEES ENGAGED IN FIRE PROTECTION AND LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Subparagraphs 2 and 3 of paragraph F of Section 1 of Resolution No. 6290 are amended to read, respectively, as follows: "2. Employees engaged in fire protection activities shall receive straight time pay for all hours worked in a work period to a maximum of 232 hours. All hours worked in excess of 232 hours during any work period shall be compensated at one and one-half times the hourly rate of the employee. 3. Employees engaged in law enforcement activities shall receive straight time pay for all hours worked in a work period to a maximum of 232 hours. All hours worked in excess of 232 hours during any work period shall be compensated at one and one-half times the hourly rate of the employee." SECTION 2. This resolution shall be effective as of the first pay period in January, 1976. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
