RESOLUTION NO, 6476
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF A.ZUSA. ADOPTING THE SEISMIC SAFETY
AND THE PUBLIC SAFETY ELEMENTS OF THE
AZUSA GENERAL PLAN (Planning Commission
Resolutions No. 1311 and 1312),
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and
declare that the following revision and amendment to the General Plan of
the City of Azusa was duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was
published, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Com-
mission and by the City Council and that the public convenience, necessity
and general welfare require that the following revision and amendment to
the General Plan be made.
SECTION Z. The Seismic Safety Element and the Public Safety
Element as adopted by Planning Commission Resolutions No. 1311 and 1312
respectively, are hereby adopted as amendments to the General Plan of the
City of Azusa. A copy of the Seismic Safety Element and the Public Safety
Element as hereby adopted, is on file in the office of the City Clerk and is,
by this reference, incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
SECTION 3. The City Council does hereby find and declare that
the Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact prepared by the Planning
Department and approved by the Planning Commission, after notice and public
hearing, is adequate, has been prepared in accordance with the California
Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and the State Guidelines, and is hereby
adopted by the City Council. The City Council does also find and declare
that the component parts of the General Plan, as amended, will enhance and
protect the environment of the City of Azusa.

SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
