RESOLUTION NO. 6536
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA HONORING AND COMMENDING "THE
GENERAL HAPPENING" FOR ITS MANY CONTRIBUTIONS
TO THE COMMUNITY.
WHEREAS, the poet has said, "If music be the food of
Love, play on...", and
WHEREAS, into a world too often turned sour, "The
General Happening" brings a message of love, beauty and rhythm
to jaded ears, and
WHEREAS, in only three years this musical group has
reaped high praise and acclaim wherever they have performed, always
in a highly artistic and talented manner, and
WHEREAS, this dedicated group is composed of young people
who primarily are employed in regular occupations within the
General Telephone Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
of the City of Azusa joins in the throngs of enthusiastic fans of
"The General Happening" and wishes each and every member of this
uplifting and delightful group the best of good fortune in their
rich and rewarding lives which are so, because of the joy and
gaiety they so profusely radiate.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this i.9th day of June, 1977.

adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular adjourned
meeting thereof held on the --15th day of June, 1977, by the following

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA ALLOWING CERTAIN CLA111S AND DEMANDS
AND SPECIFYING THE FUNDS OUT OF WHICH THE
SAME ARE TO BE PAID.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as

been audited as required by law and that the same are hereby allowed
