A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA ASCERTAINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING
RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES FOR PUBLIC WORK IN THE
CITY OF AZUSA.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa
does hereby ascertain and declare the general prevailing rate of
per diem wages for each craft, classification or type of workman
needed to perform public work within the City of Azusa to be that
set forth in Exhibit A which is attached to this resolution and,
by this reference, incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall cause Exhibit A
to this resolution to be published as required by Section 1773 of
the California Labor Code.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and is directed to file a copy of
this resolution with the State Director of Industrial Relations.
Adopted and approved this 7th day of February, 1977.

meeting thereof held on the 7th day of February, 1977, by the

GENERAL WAGE DETERMINATION MADE BY THE DIRECTOR OF
INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA LABOR CODE,
PART 7, CHAPTER 1, ARTICLE 2, SECTIONS 1770,1773 AND 1773.1
Effective date of determination: JANUARY 1, 1977
Expiration date of determination: INDIVIDUAL EXPIRATION DATES ARE ON
FILE IN THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE, CITY
OF AZUSA
HOURS: 8 Hours daily, Monday through Friday.
OVERTIME: Work from 8:00 AM -to 12:00 NOON and 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, is paid at
straight time. All other time is paid at varying rates, which are on file at
the City Clerk's Office, City of Azusa.
PREMIUM PAY FOR SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, AND HOLIDAYS: Rates are on file at the
City Clerk's Office, City of Azusa, for individual crafts.
In accordance with Labor Code Section 1773, holidays upon which the general
prevailing hourly wage rate for holiday work shall be paid shall be all holidays
recognized in the collective bargaining agreement applicable to the particular
craft, classification, or type of worker employed on the project which is on file
with the Director of Industrial Relations.
TRAVEL AND SUBSISTENCE PAYMENTS: The contractor shall make travel and subsistence
payments to each worker needed to execute the work, as such travel and subsistence
payments are defined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement filed with
the Director of Industrial Relations in accordance with Labor Code Section 1773.8.

pay in addition to the regular rate of pay. Thereafter, they shall receive an additional
20¢ per hour pay additional to the regular rate of pay'for each additional 20 feet of
boom or portion thereof, including jib, in addition to their regular rate of pay. How-
ever, the oiler shall receive up to a maximum of the 200 foot rate. The rate of pay
established shall become the base rate for the entire shift.
Miscellaneous Provisions:
1. Operators on tandem type equipment (scrapers, belly dumps and similar types in
any combination), excluding compaction units shall receive an additional one dollar ($1.00)
per hour in addition to the regular rate and this shall become the base rate for the
entire shift.
2. Operators on tower crane equipment shall receive an additional forty-five cents
(45¢) per hour in addition to the regular rate and this shall become the base rate for
the entire shift. (Long boom pay does not apply).
3. Operators on hoists with three drums shall receive fifteen cents (15¢) per hour
additional pay to the regular rate of pay. For each additional drum, he shall receive
an additional fifteen cents (15¢) per hour. The additional pay shall be added to the
regular rate and become the base rate for the entire shift.
4. Operators operating equipment with the push-pull system shall receive an
additional fifty cents (50¢) per hour in addition to the regular rate and this shall
become the base rate for the entire shift.
5• Operators operating equipment with the tandem push-pull system shall receive
an additional one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour in addition to the regular rate
and this shall become the base rate for the entire shift."
6. Operators of crawler type tractors in tandem (quad 9 and similar type) shall
receive an additional fifty cents (50¢) per hour in addition to the regular rate and
this shall become the base rate for the entire shift. -

job a man from the preferred classification shall be employed to service and
maintain all of the auxiliary equipment up to 9 units and shall receive 10¢
per hour per each unit over 5. When over 9 auxiliary units are on the job
an additional preferred man shall be employed.
Operators on tractors with boom attachments and/or hydro cranes or stinger
cranes with booms in excess of 40 feet shall receive 2¢ per hour for each
foot or portion thereof over 40 feet, which shall be in addition to regular
rate of pay and become the base rate for the entire day or shift.
All operators and oilers on equipment with booms of 80 to 100 feet including
jib and pile driving rigs with hammer leads of 80 to 100 feet, shall receive
15¢ per hour pay in addition to regular rate of pay. Thereafter they shall
