HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 6500RESOLUTION NO. 6500 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ASCERTAINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES FOR PUBLIC WORK IN THE CITY OF AZUSA. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby ascertain and declare the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for each craft, classification or type of workman needed to perform public work within the City of Azusa to be that set forth in Exhibit A which is attached to this resolution and, by this reference, incorporated herein. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall cause Exhibit A to this resolution to be published as required by Section 1773 of the California Labor Code. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and is directed to file a copy of this resolution with the State Director of Industrial Relations. Adopted and approved this 7th day of February, 1977. TRAVEL AND SUBSISTENCE PAYMENTS: The contractor shall make travel and subsistence payments to each worker needed to execute the work, as such travel and subsistence payments are defined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement filed with the Director of Industrial Relations in accordance with Labor Code Section 1773.8. Thereafter, they shall receive an additional 20¢ per hour pay additional to the regular rate of pay'for each additional 20 feet of boom or portion thereof, including jib, in addition to their regular rate of pay. How- ever, the oiler shall receive up to a maximum of the 200 foot rate. The rate of pay established shall become the base rate for the entire shift. Miscellaneous Provisions: 1. Operators on tandem type equipment (scrapers, belly dumps and similar types in any combination), excluding compaction units shall receive an additional one dollar ($1.00) per hour in addition to the regular rate and this shall become the base rate for the entire shift. 2. Operators on tower crane equipment shall receive an additional forty-five cents (45¢) per hour in addition to the regular rate and this shall become the base rate for the entire shift. (Long boom pay does not apply). 3. Operators on hoists with three drums shall receive fifteen cents (15¢) per hour additional pay to the regular rate of pay. For each additional drum, he shall receive an additional fifteen cents (15¢) per hour. The additional pay shall be added to the regular rate and become the base rate for the entire shift. 4.
