A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA AUTHORIZING DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVES
TO ACQUIRE SURPLUS PROPERTY FROM THE CALIFORNIA
STATE AGENCY FOR SURPLUS PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, Public Law 94-519 enacted October 17, 1976
amended the Federal Property Administrative Services Act of 1949
(P.L. 81-152), to permit the donation of Federal surplus personal
property through a designated State Agency to any public agency
to assist in carrying out or promoting for the residents of a
given political area, one or more public purposes, and
WHEREAS, to be eligible to acquire property on or
after October 17, 1977, the effective date of P.L. 94-519, donee
organization must have an approved application on file with the
State Surplus Property Agency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council
of the City of Azusa hereby authorizes that the officials whose
names, titles and signatures are listed on the appropriate form
shall be and are hereby authorized as representatives of the City
of Azusa eligible to acquire Federal Surplus property from the
California State Agency for surplus property under the terms and
conditions as specified.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7th day of November, 1977.

I HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof, held on the 7th day of November, 1977, by ,the following vote
of the Council:
