CITY HALL, A ZUSA, CALIFORNIA. FEBRUARY 14, 1936. 2,00 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa
met at the above time ani place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen:
McIntire, Arnold, Chester, Morden, City
Attorney and City Clerk.
Absent: Councilman Carr.
The Clerk announced that she had received
three sealed bids in answer to Notice
calling for bids for 16 trailers.
Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by
Councilman McIntire that the bids be now
opened, examined and publicly declared.

16 Two Ton Dump Trailers for the City of Azusa.
Our price on these trailers is $139.40 per unit, Sales Tax
included, F 0 B our Los Angeles factory, ah ich would be a
total of $2230.40.
If you should find bonding unnecessary, deduct $22.00
from the total price.
PIKE AUTO AND TRAILER WORKS
Sixteen one and one-half cubic yard, dump trailers.
Our price per trailer including delivery and sales tax
on an order for sixteen trailers is $216.30 each.
In case four or less trailers may be ordered the price
will be ten per -cent higher.
SAMOS AUTO PARTS & WRECKING COMPANY
Please enter my bid on the 16 trailers that you are
' requesting bids. Our bid is ($75.00) Seventy-five dollars
per trailer or ($1200.00) One thousand two hundred dollars
for all 16 trailers.
Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by
Councilman McIntire that the bid to furnish
the City with 16 trailers be awarded to
Sam's Auto Parts & Wrecking Company and the
Mayor and City Clerk instructed and author-
ized to enter into a contract with same.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: McIntire, Arnold,
Chester, Morden.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Carr.
Moved by Councilman Chester,

will furnish service and meter, to service
point, for the Cooking School to, be held
in the Auditorium February 19, 20 and 21,
1936.

Chester, Morden.
Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Carr.
