The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: Roll call. McIntire, Carr, Arnold, Chester, Morden, City Attorney and City Clerk. The minutes of the last regular meeting of February 3 and the adjourned session of February 14, 1936 were read and ' approved as read. A communication signed by Jessie Pierce requesting that the sidewalks on Dalton Avenue, North of Tenth Street, be repaired. Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Councilman Chester that same be referred to the Board of Public Works with power to act. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: McIntire, Carr, Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes; None. Absent: None. Councilman Chester offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIF- ORNIA, TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF FIVE HUN- DRED DOLLARS (500.00) FROM THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY HIGHWAY APPROPRIATION FUND TO THE STATE GAS TAX STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE FUND. Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Councilman Chester that this Resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1482. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: McIntire, Carr, Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: None. Councilman McIntire offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPOINTING D. L. EVANS DEPUTY ASSESSOR AND FIXING HIS SALARY. Moved by Councilman Carr, seconded by Councilman McIntire that this Resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1483. Councilman Chester offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIF- ORNIA, CALLING A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON THE 14TH DAY OF APRIL, 1936, AND GIVING A GENERAL DES- CRIPTION OF THE VOTING PRECINCT AND LO- CATION OF THE POLLING PLACE; FIXING THE TIME THE POLLS SHALL BE OPEN; APPOINTING Minutes read. Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by Councilman Carr that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for the same.
