HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 6557RESOLUTION NO. 6557 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by Aerojet-General Corporation under date of 27th day of May 1977 , granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for Water Line in,' on, over, under, across and along the following describe -J rea property situate in the CITT OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit: SEE ATTACHED Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County. SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. Adopted and approved this 1st day of August 19 77 /S/ r of the y of Azusa I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 1st day of August, 19 77 , by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Arkison, Solem NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: None /s/ , D City C e c of the City of Azusa A portion of Lots 24 and 31 of Subdivision No. 2 of Azusa Land and Water Company in the Cities of Azusa and Irwindale, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in book 43, page 94 of Miscellaneous Records in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows: Parcel l: A strip of land 10.00 feet wide the northerly lines of which are described as followsa Beginning at a point in the Easterly line of Irwindale Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, as shown on map of Porter Albright Tract recorded in book 161, page 50 of Maps, records of said county, distantalong said easterly line South 10 00' 53" West 85.92 feet from the southerly line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Failroad right of way (100 feet wide), as shown on said map of Porter Albright Tract, said point being also the southwesterly corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed to Aerojet Engineering Corporation,., by deed recorded in book 30526, page 354 of Official Records, in said office; thence southerly along said easterly line of Irwindale Avenue, South 10 00' 53" West 632.88 feet to the northwest corner of Parcel 1 of that certain real property conveyed to Aerojet-General Corporation, by deed recorded in book D 1514, page 692 of Official Records in said office; thence along the northerly line of said Parcel 1, North 890 37' 08" East 123.37 feet to the true point of beginning: thence North 890 37' 08" East 688.75 feet; thence South 450 22' 53" East 218.30 feet; thence South 880 56' 54" East 170.01 feet to the east line of said Lot 24.
