RESOLUTION NO. 6677
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING MRS.
ADDIE JOHNS FOR HER SERVICE TO THE
CITY OF AZUSA.
The City Council of the City of Azusa, does
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, It is said, that true merit, like a river, the
deeper it is, the less noise it makes, and
WHEREAS, Addie Johns, embodying true merit, ability and
worth, all enclosed in a pervasive,wholesome,
cheerful spirit of sincere and heartfelt
friendship, and
WHEREAS, Since Addie began her employment with the
City, on March 31, 1953, she has come to be
known by her fellow workers as well as all
other persons with whom she dealt, as a model
of open and friendly compassion and concern,
and
WHEREAS, Because of her inestimable worth, she will be
sorely missed by all,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Azusa, that they pause collectively, to express
their thanks for a job well done to Addie Johns, and
further, to commend her for her years of devoted service
to the City of Azusa, and, finally, to wish her the best
that may come her way during this well deserved time of
rest.
Adopted and Approved this 13th day of June, 1978.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a
regular adjourned meeting thereof held on the 13th day of
June, 1978, by the following vote of the Council:
