HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 66500 RESOLUTION NO. 6650 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA HONORING MR. JAMES F. ARKISON FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF AZUSA. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, James Arkison, first as a husband and father, then as a newspaperman and lastly as a Council- man, has served this City and all who live within its boundaries, and WHEREAS, his commitment to the City has been marked with a singular devotion to logical practicability in all areas, and WHEREAS, this transplanted New Englander has, over the years taken in and become extensively involved in all aspects of this Southern California scene, leaving a proud legacy of successful accomplish- ment. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Azusa joins in heartily commending and honoring Jim for his devotion to this City and the unending cause of human concern and wellbeing, and collectively wishes him well in all his future endeavors. Adopted and Approved this 17th day of April, 1978.
