TO THE OFFICE OF ASSISTANT TO THE CITY CLERK AND FIXING HER SALARY OR COMPEN- SATION. Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by ' Councilman Arnold that this Resolution be adopted as read and numbered Reso- lution No. 1486. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: McIntire, Carr, Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: None. Miss Chester addressed the City Council requesting a full page ad be given the Citrus Annual for the year 1936. Moved by Councilman Carr, seconded by Councilman McIntire that the City of Azusa place an ad in the 1936 Citrus Annual, the price of same to be $18.00. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: McIntire, Carr, Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes; None. Absent: None. Mr. Stone addressed the Council regarding the repairs needed at the Slauson Memorial ' Plunge. Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by Councilman Arnold that the matter of purchasing paint for the plunge, be referred to Councilman Carr, with power to act. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: McIntire, Carr, Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: None. City to advertise in the Citrus Annual. Purachse of paint for the Swimming Pool referred to Councilman Carr with power to act. 35 R. ` CITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. MARCH 16, 1936. 7:30 P. M. The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: McIntire, Carr, Arnold, Chester, Morden, City Attorney and City Clerk. The minutes of the last regular meeting Minutes approved. of March 2, 1936 were read and approved as read. A communication from Walter Worthy re- lative to the treatment of Citrus trees Treatment of trees and shrubs referred and shrubs on City property, was read. to the Street Superintendent with Moved by Councilman McIntire, seconded by power to act. Councilman Chester that this matter be referred to the Street Superintendent with power to act. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: McIntire, Carr, Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: None.
