HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 66310 0 RESOLUTION NO. 6631 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. 10145. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine that there was filed with the Planning Commission Tentative Parcel Map No. 10145 by Charles Key, Christine Key, John Rayburn and Patricia Rayburn, subdividers, that the said Tentative Map was properly examined and considered by the Commission which determined that the Tentative Parcel Map would be materially detrimental to the public welfare and contrary to the general comprehensive zoning plan of the City and adopted Planning Commission Resolution No. 1438 denying Tentative Parcel Map No. 10145. SECTION 2. An appeal was filed by the subdividers to the City Council and the City Council held a hearing thereon and proper and legal notice of the hearing was duly given. SECTION 3. After due notice and public hearing, the City Council finds: (a) Tentative Parcel Map No. 10145 involves the same property which was the subject matter of Zone Variance Case No. V-520 which was approved by City Council Resolution No. 6577. (b) Variance No. V-520 and Tentative Parcel Map No. 10145 provide for the division of two existing fifty foot wide lots into two lots that are 68' and 32' wide. (c) The proposed subdivision shown on the Tentative Map qualifies for recordation as a Parcel Map in accordance with the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 2 of the Subdivision Map Act. (d) The approval of Tentative Parcel Map No. 10145 is consistent with the action of the City Council in approving Variance No. V-520 and will have no adverse environmental effects. SECTION 4. Tentative Parcel Map No. 10145 is hereby approved subject to the following conditions: 1. The driveway apron to 235 North San Gabriel Avenue shall be improved by the construction of a concrete driveway apron in accordance with City Standard Drawing No. R-5, if continued access to the property from San Gabriel Avenue is desired. If access is no longer needed to the property from San Gabriel Avenue, then the existing opening in the curb shall be replaced with new curb to meet existing ends of curb in accordance with the stand- ards of the Department of Public works. 0 2. All conditions of City Council Resolution No. 6577 (approving Variance Case No. V-520) are made a part hereof and shall be met at all times. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. 1978.
